Narconon Johannesburg Drug Abuse Prevention Program Helps End Drug
Abuse on Our School Grounds
Today's kids need the truth about drug abuse, and they need this
while they're young, before it's too late.
 In
South Africa 80% of children will try drugs before matriculating. 15% of
these will become addicted.
To help turn the tide, Narconon network has worked steadily since
1979 bringing drug abuse prevention education to school children. Each
year skilled Narconon presenters reach over 100,000 people in schools,
youth groups, corporations and civic groups.
Bob Wiggins, Narconon's lead drug abuse prevention specialist, has
"been there" and knows the story. After a 14 year history of
drug abuse, Bob became rehabilitated through the Narconon Drug
Rehabilitation program. Having completed the program, Bob trained as a
Narconon counselor and spent 13 years counseling addicts. During this
time he also began working with children to prevent drug abuse and has
reached over 450,000 kids in the past 13 years.

Ricky
Delgado, Robbie van der Feyst and our other drug abuse prevention
specialists have delivered lectures to over 100,000 kids in South Africa. The
majority of our specialists have completed the Narconon® program as
well and overcame their downward spiral.
It is this real-life experience that gives them credibility with
kids, and enables them to aptly reach audiences of all ages in conveying
the real truth about drugs and drug abuse.
